Bonn / Eindhoven, September 30, 2026 – A.H.T. Syngas Technology N.V. (ISIN: NL0010872388, WKN: A12AGY), The key figures published today for the first half of 2026 are based on AHT’s unaudited half-year financial statements prepared in accordance with Dutch accounting standards.
AHT’s revenue amounted to less than EUR 100,000 in the first half of 2026 (H1 2025: EUR 1.9 million). Revenue development therefore fell short of the company’s original expectations. This was primarily due to delays in finalizing project contracts, which have already been in advanced negotiations for some time, as well as limited progress in billing for ongoing projects.
The development of the project pipeline is positive. AHT continues to have a large number of concrete project opportunities and is engaged in intensive discussions with potential customers, particularly in its European home markets. Interest in the company’s technologies remains high. Management is therefore confident that several of the projects currently under discussion can be converted into concrete orders promptly, thereby creating the basis for a significant improvement in revenue development.
The result after taxes amounted to EUR -1.3 million in the reporting period (H1 2025: EUR -8 thousand). The development in earnings is primarily attributable to the significantly lower revenues compared with the previous year. At the same time, AHT successfully implemented the efficiency and cost-reduction measures that had been initiated. Total costs were reduced from EUR 1.67 million to EUR 1.27 million compared with the same period of the previous year. This significantly reduced the company’s cost base and further improved operational efficiency.
Total assets increased to EUR 9.13 million as of 30 June 2026, compared with EUR 8.45 million as of 31 December 2025. Following the half-year loss, equity amounted to EUR 0.53 million (31 December 2025: EUR 1.73 million). Non-current liabilities increased from EUR 0.4 million to EUR 2.4 million, while current liabilities, at EUR 6.2 million, were slightly below the year-end 2025 level of EUR 6.3 million.
The company’s asset base remains solid. Non-current assets amount to EUR 4.0 million, while current assets amount to EUR 5.1 million. The largest individual item within current assets is receivables, amounting to EUR 3.4 million.
With its strong technological market position, continued high customer interest, and a well-filled project pipeline, AHT considers itself well positioned for the future. Management is highly confident about the ongoing contract negotiations and expects that progress in the project business, together with the expansion of the product portfolio, will increasingly be reflected in revenue and earnings going forward.
