The Management Board of A.H.T. Syngas Technology N.V. (WKN: A12AGY, abbreviated: AHT) announces that on May 30, 2023, the contract for the construction of a 1.2 MW plant (thermal energy) for CO₂-neutral energy supply to a surface treatment process was signed.
“We are looking forward to implementing this innovative project in Germany, which has been in preparation for a long time. It underlines our strategy of wanting to grow nationally in addition to our successful international business,” explains CEO Gero Ferges. “Our customer will substitute the natural gas previously used at the site with our technology and thus make a further contribution to the energy turnaround and the defossilization of energy-intensive industry.”
Instead of natural gas, synthesis gas produced from waste wood will generate the necessary high temperature in the future. The plant will be commissioned subject to the approval of the licensing authority, which AHT is confident of following preliminary talks.
