A.H.T. Syngas Technology N.V. (“A.H.T.”) is well positioned in these times – the current focus is set towards order processing in our vicinity as a result of our increased activities in Germany and neighbouring European countries. Even though we have partially outsourced some of our activities to “home office”, we are still accessible as usual and ensure that our customers are served to their satisfaction. The completion of the commissioned planning and the realisation of the project in the immediate vicinity of A.H.T. (we reported) is still in full swing.
The current events show that the establishment of decentralised structures and circular value creation is more important than ever before.
We are also using the time to further advance concepts for the utilisation of waste materials and – in addition to heat and power generation – the separation of hydrogen and other components from biogenic synthesis gas. Especially against the background of the amendment of the Fertiliser Ordinance in Germany and the confirmation by the Federal Council last Friday, 27 March 2020, our activities in Northern Germany and Switzerland for the thermal and material recycling of liquid manure are experiencing a renewed upswing (we reported on 6 June 2019 and 15 November 2020). Thus, following implementation by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Energy, framework legislation is now available that will provide the company and its customers with planning security and further access to subsidies.
Activities in our neighbouring countries, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, have been strengthened by similar developments and political requirements – project development remains guaranteed in the course of today’s digital interaction opportunities. Since the beginning of the year, A.H.T. has also been participating in two further tenders: a demonstration project in Japan and another project in Africa.
The ongoing engineering work, project acquisition, proposal preparation and customer support are regularly adapted to the respective project via appropriate digital exchange. Also installations on site are still supervised by us.
