A.H.T. expands positioning in the “Clean Energy by Gasification” sector

A.H.T. Syngas Technology N.V. (“A.H.T.” for short) announces that the first delivery of a purification system for synthetic gas is on its way to Japan. This is the completion of the partial order (we reported on 31.08.2020) by a renowned Japanese group.

The customer delivers solutions for the generation of syngas from municipal waste and relies on A.H.T.’s expertise in gas conditioning. The gas thus purified is primarily used to utilise the gas components in chemical processes.

“We are pleased that our multi-stage purification system will soon arrive in Japan and will then be integrated into the existing production,” says A.H.T.’s CEO Mr Gero Ferges.

In line with the A.H.T. CleanTech philosophy, this gas treatment system contributes to a more efficient and environmentally friendly utilisation of waste streams.

“With our technology, we can contribute to the harnessing and sensible use of these material flows for synthesis gas production,” Gero Ferges continues. The “waste to energy” concept is part of A.H.T.’s DNA, which has positioned itself with its technology in the globally growing “clean energy by gasification” market.

The implementation of this concept as well offers great potential for material waste utilisation in Europe. Gero Ferges comments: “From my point of view, Japan is several years ahead of Europe in this field – we are gaining valuable expertise through our experience with the Japanese customer.”

The delivery of the gas purification system is just the first step within a larger cooperation agreement with the Japanese partner. According to planning, further orders are to follow at the end of the 2nd quarter of 2021 and in the 3rd quarter of 2023.
