Strategic Update for Fiscal Year 2026

Eindhoven / Bonn, 13 January 2026A.H.T. Syngas Technology N.V. (“A.H.T.”), (ISIN NL0010872388, WKN A12AGY), a specialist in decentralized, climate-supporting biomass power plants has successfully started the new financial year. Through the full placement of the convertible bond 2026/2029 in the amount of EUR 2.0 million, the financial base was strengthened. The funds will flow into ongoing projects as well as into the expansion of the business with natural gas substitution and low-greenhouse-gas energy generation.

Dynamic Market Growth

The market for natural gas substitution solutions and low-greenhouse-gas energy generation in Europe is being certified a positive future. According to experts from MarketResearchFuture.com, the syngas market will almost double to USD 33.4 billion by 2035, thus growing significantly faster than conventional gas demand. The company will benefit from these positive framework conditions. Syngas combines climate protection and security of supply.

Transformation Process and Expansion of the Business Model

A.H.T. is currently supporting projects in Poland, Austria, and Germany. In order to sustainably benefit from the industrial trend toward decarbonization, A.H.T. is in a central transformation process from a traditional plant constructor to an operator of its own energy plants and thus to an integrated energy supplier.

With this “contracting,” A.H.T. prospectively extends the value chain and secures recurring revenues and higher returns. “Our business model is far from being exhausted. We are currently in talks with partners with whom we want to operate the plants in a joint venture. The new opportunities offer our shareholders clear added value. This should also be reflected in the share price in the medium term. In their current update, the analysts at GBC certify our share with a price target of EUR 8.50,” says CEO Gero Ferges.

Focus: Dual-Fire Principle and Standardization

While the market for natural gas substitution solutions offers a broad spectrum of technological solutions, A.H.T. will continue to focus on syngas production through the use of renewable biomass. This type of gas production enables decentralized hot-gas, heat, and power supply concepts. The A.H.T. dual-fire gasifiers (R116) can process not only various types of wood but also other substitute materials such as digestate, sewage sludge, or manure.

In recent years, A.H.T. has standardized technology and processes. The focus is on the R116, which is identical for all applications. Through current inventory levels and standardization, A.H.T. can respond quickly to inquiries and reduce costs.

Outlook

“With the fully placed convertible bond and the consistent operational measures, A.H.T. is strategically and financially well positioned to further drive European expansion for natural gas substitution and low-greenhouse-gas energy generation including contracting projects,” CEO Ferges summarizes the strategic outlook.
